Project Overview

Years of invasive plants had buried a beautiful stone wall and patio at this upscale farmhouse. The homeowner did not even know the patio was there. We cleared the overgrowth to reveal stunning stonework and created an elegant outdoor living space.

The Challenge

Invasive bittersweet and wild grape vines had completely consumed a 120-foot stone wall and buried a 400 square foot stone patio. The homeowner had purchased the property without knowing these features existed. Previous attempts with hand tools had barely made a dent in the dense vine growth.

Our Solution

Our mulching equipment made quick work of the vine mass, grinding it down to reveal the stonework beneath. We worked carefully along the wall face to avoid damaging the mortar while aggressively clearing everything growing over and around the structures. The patio emerged in pristine condition.

The Result

The homeowner was stunned to discover a professional-quality stone patio they never knew existed. Combined with the exposed stone wall, the property gained an elegant outdoor living space that would have cost $30,000+ to build from scratch. The clearing cost was a fraction of that investment.
